MY COMPANYCreated in 1778, The Gazette is an English newspaper sold in Quebec (more specifically in Montreal). At first it was edited in French, but over the years it turned out to be an all English newspaper. It is one of the oldest newspapers found in the area and is the most popular English newspaper bought in Montreal. However, a lot of the French population buys it as well. The paper is separated in the many sections such as business, sports, arts, life, health, technology and travel. You can also find ads, job offers, games, horoscopes and a lot more. Many jobs are found in relation to this newspaper such as writers, editors, photographs, columnists, advertisers and many more.
COMPETERSThe Gazette’s main completers are of course all the other newspapers sold in Montreal. Since there are not a lot of English newspapers, the two main computers are edited in French. The first one is considered one of the most preferred French newspapers in North America. “Le journal de MontrĂ©al” is a smaller format of newspaper which is called a tabloid. Since it is smaller, Montrealers enjoy it better for some reason. The second competing newspaper in Quebec is called “La presse”. This paper is not as popular as the others, but still gets a good read. “La presse” is a formal newspaper that is quite long to read compared to The Gazette and “Le journal de MontrĂ©al”.
